Kaitlyn is a character in the Dark Visions trilogy. She is haunted by her ability to predict events before they happen through her drawings. She can "see" terrible things happen but can only decipher her pictures after the fact. She is lured to the Zetes Institute by the promise of learning to control her gift. Everyone at school says she is a witch, and because of this, she is never invited to parties. Instead, she always listens to other girls plan parties she isn't invited to. Her eyes are a smoky blue and she considers boys "no good" as they are only polite to her because she is beautiful.
Physical Appearance
Appearance-wise, Kaitlyn is beautiful and she knows that boys are only nice to her because of this. Her eyes are described as being a smoky blue, and no-one else has eyes like hers. Kaitlyn's hair is described as being an autumn-fire colour, which she has inherited from her mother. Kaitlyn has a supple, willow-slim figure which her mother also passed on to her. A quote from the books describes Kaitlyn's looks: "Boys-boys were no good. Kaitlyn knew exactly why they were nice to her. She'd inherited her mother's creamy Irish skin and autumn-fire hair. She'd inherited her mother's supple, willow slim figure." As mentioned above, Kaitlyn also inherited her mother's creamy Irish skin.
Personality
Kaitlyn is a loner and no-one ever invites her to parties because they think she is a witch. Kaitlyn hates Pam and Marcy, and wants them both die, or suffer in an accident. Kaitlyn sometimes uses her eyes as a weapon, seen when she stared at Chris Barnable until the "poor jerk" actually steps backwards. She is a caring girl, and does not want to leave her father.
