Klaus is a villain in The Vampire Diaries. He was the vampire that turned Katherine in the books. He teamed up with Tyler Smallwood, who is a werewolf. He terrorizes Elena's friends in Dark Reunion, after Elena dies. Elena tries to help Bonnie, Meredith, & Caroline. She warns them about him on an Ouija board. Klause tells Tyler to kill Sue Carson.
